employees of the UT-System Medical Foundation are highly encouraged to
participate in direct deposit of pay.
To
enroll, simply select the Authorization Agreement
for Direct Deposit form, complete and return to Medical Foundation, JJL
310, via inter-institutional mail along with a voided check.
Current
participation in the direct deposit program at UTSMF of 98% indicates
a high level of trust and customer satisfaction. Direct
deposit of pay is a valuable benefit - and it is free! On payday, a detailed
earnings statement is delivered to each employee. Trips to the bank and
long waiting lines are eliminated as well as the need to schedule vacations
around paydays. Regardless of whether it is a workday for us, the Federal
Reserve Bank continues its operation. Your co-workers who already enjoy
direct deposit of pay will testify when holidays, vacation, illness, business
travel, or anything unforeseen coincides with payday, they are relaxed
knowing their check is in the bank.
An
added feature of direct deposit at UTSMF is the option to allocate deposits
between number of accounts, either within the same or separate financial
institutions within the continental United States. For instance, you can
deposit part of your salary in a checking account and the balance in a
savings account through routine payroll transactions.
Please
remember, a change in banks or bank account number constitutes a change
in direct deposit enrollment. In order to avoid disruption or rejection
of deposits, be sure to complete a new Authorization Agreement for Direct
Deposit and forward to Medical Foundation should any of your original enrollment
information change.
